In addition to service on specific committees, as Graduate Coordinator, I organized and chaired all the preview committees for prospective Master of Art Education (through 1997) and Ph.D. students (through 1998); organized and chaired all preliminary and qualifying examinations for MAE and PhD students in the department; organized and chaired annual reviews of doctoral students; served as the faculty advisor for all MAE and PhD students; and, finally, conducted all the correspondence and recruiting contacts with prospective graduate students in the MAE and PhD programs.
